Can I receive funding for college if I have diabetes?

I am a nineteen year old about to transfer from a community college to a university. I have type 1 diabetes, and I am short on money. The only scholarships I could find were for tennis players. Can anyone tell me if I would be approved via financial aid, or if there are any other grants or scholarships that could help me out with college?
