I am an almost straight A freshman living in the US and attending a magnet high school. I have 3 honors classes, and I have been listed on the straight A list for 2 semesters. In the beginning of the year, I had one semester in an honors class with a high B. Will that one B affect my chances of being accepted? I brought it up to a 100 the next semester, though.
In addition to grades, I dabble in chess club and tennis. I’m not particularly good at them, but I have a basic knowledge in chess and an average level in tennis.
How do I apply? No one at my high school has went there. My counselors aren’t very helpful.
Would it count against me if I’m a US student coming from a working class family?
Do they have better financial aid than some of the Ivy League colleges in the US?
What is the website where I can read about the requirements for admission?
Do I need UK citizenship?
Do I need to take an IQ test?
Should I take IB or AP? Or should I take both?
Would my chances be better if I knew how to play an instrument at orchestra level (only at advanced beginner level on violin)?
