Hey guys. I really have my heart set on NYU. I don’t have a positive grade trend, but I also don’t have a declining one. It’s just A-s randomly scattered across my transcript. I also have one B. I try to be involved. I’m about to enter my senior year in high school. I will have three years of tennis, one year of cross country, three years of newspaper/yearbook staff (two years newspaper editor), and two years of college in the high school. I’m also going to hold a position on the student council at a local community college this coming year. I have a 3.9 and a 1850 SAT score (I’ll be taking it again in October, hoping for better results. I got a 660 in math but a 580 in writing.)
I’d appreciate it if only actual NYU students answered this:
What do you think my chances of getting in are? Also, despite NYU’s financial aid standards, I know for a fact that my 0k/year family will be able to contribute little to my college education. What are my chances of receiving financial aid?
